I've seen this particular clock at other web sites. I decided to buy it from Target.com because the price was good and there is free shipping. When I received the clock in only 3 days, I was pleasantly surprised to see first how well it had been packed. It arrived in perfect condition. I inserted an AA battery only to wonder whether I had gotten a "dud" -- it didn't make any perceptible tick. Soon it was clear that the clock was working well and I hung it in my newly remodelled kitchen in a prominent place and I love it. I highly recommend this very quiet, well-made clock.

I put this clock on my wedding registry cause I liked the look of it and it seemed sturdy....and boy is it! My husband and I are stationed in Spain and over here, the kitchen walls are solid tile from floor to ceiling. I wanted this clock in my kitchen so I baught some sticky-hooks to hang it with, thinking that two should hold it. Well, twice (you'd think I'd have learned the first time) it fell off the wall, bounced off the counter (after first completely shattering a dish...wow) and to the floor, sliding accross the kitchen. I was surprise to see it was not only still working but had just a minor scratch on the metal! This is a tough little booger and I would definitely buy another one. Plus, the warranty is very good. And, I finally got it mounted firmly to my kitchen wall....yea!

This is a beautiful clock with a retro feel and it really jazzes up the room. Quiet, reliable and easily read from a distance, this clock is a great timepiece as well as a vibrant accent piece.
