The directions were written by someone in Taiwan who barely speaks English. Totally unhelpful. There are no pre-drilled holes to connect the seat to the chair frame, so you will be doing drilling and hoping you lined it up correctly. This assembly is NOT easy, and I consider myself to be a fairly handy person. (Ie, I don't struggle with Ikea furniture assembly.) The chairs are comfy and look great, but I give 2 stars because I spent hours and hours last night cursing and being frustrated before these chairs were finally put together. Hopefully they last.

The worst thing i can say about these chairs are the comical instructions. SUCCESS! They were easy to assemble, the threaded inserts in the chair backs and legs were well tapped, no binding or other problems. The chrome supports at the chair backs were pretty sharp, i used a small grinder/file to smooth the edges so they wouldn't slice into the fabric. We're very happy with their weight, looks, comfort and shipping. We'd buy these again.

These chairs look nice and are comfortable. Though the directions are a bit comical, they are not too difficult to put together and appear to be fairly sturdy.

This was a gift. They were perfect for my friend's kitchen table. Looks like they came with table. Assembled within an hour. Comfortable and good-looking.

Love the chairs, I had purchased an old retro table at a yard sale and the chairs match it perfect! Easy to assemble, fast shipping built very nice and sturdy! and the price was great! Very good buy...

I love the look of these chairs but the instructions were almost useless. Also there were no holes in the bottom of the chair pad so we had to drill them. Overall, it wasn't a huge deal. My husband had two of them put together in 15 or 20 minutes. It was well worth it, they are perfect with my formica table in my craft's room.

Easy to assemble, and very sturdy. Good quality and the shade of red is nice and rich. Very comfortable to sit on. Delivery was prompt.

I got these chairs to replace one of my really old vintage red chairs that broke. They blend well with the other chairs and are comfortable. Easy to assemble.

well you've been so sweet about checking with him about our recent shipment of our much awaited for retro style kitchen table.
i'm afraid i am the bearer of bad news.
after the fun and excitement of recieving this table we had to paint the kitchen to set the stage for the perfect kitchen. much anxiouty and painting and money , not to mention now we just have to get new curtains!! we finished up the painting late this afternoon. we had to stop for dinner, you see, i work out of my home, and michael's son came over on his only day off to do the painting for us so we could expidite the unvailing. when dinner was finished and michael took his boy home, my daughter and i decided we could put the table together ourselves. how funny when we took 10 minutes to get the box open only to find another box inside. we opened it top side down since we had already figured out that is how you put a table together. we carefully read the instuctions, took inventory and proceeded to put the legs together and attach them to the underside of the talbe. we could hardly wait to turn the table over and center it in the middle of our sun room. as we tipped the table onto it's side , from the box it had come in , it was my daughter who noticed it first. a chip. about the size of a quarter. our hearts sunk. upon furthur investigation, we saw a gash in the box were the chip was. apparently the table had been damaged prior to it's even being put into the shipping box. you have no idea how disappointed we all are. michael was so beside himself he has asked me to tell you what happened. he is heartbroken. this was my christmas present. he was so excited to give it to me, but i made him wait to even open it til it could be put in the perfect, clean kitchen. i know you will make this right. i'm not sure how. more than anything we want a table without a chip in it. please tell us how we can rectify this. we are going to wait til tomorrow to open the chairs, because we just couldn't stand another disappointment tonight. we are both so very very tired.please contact michael the moment you recieve this. we really appreciate how nice you have been and as i told michael from the way you've been so far, i just know you'll be anxious to help us replace this table asap....thank you much...
