Retro Rods, well sort of, March 19, 2006
This review is from: Retro Rods (Paperback)
OK book. Good pictures but a little bit of just an overview, not much in depth or history but enjoyable to browse. Some of the cars don't really fit the retro theme, too modern or mixed styles.

Nice book and pictures, September 30, 2005
This review is from: Retro Rods (Paperback)
This is a pretty nice book, it has nice pictures on the inside, and is nice to read it once and again... but after reading it three times, I still feel like there is something missing.
The first time I readed it, I felt like I had spend a great afternoon talking to and old guy who lived in first person all that time and has some nice stories to tell... but then comes the feelling "is there something missing?"
I'd like more information about making a retro rod, about how should it looks like (it says something, but again, I feel it just doesn't have all the info you would like).
For the price, it is a nice book, is just as expensive as a good magazine... about it's price-quality relationship, it seems like after reading it three times, it starts to brake...
All in all, I recommend it as a nice book.

coffee table book, February 5, 2009

some cool vintage shots and a few that are only 20 years old.... yawn..
The writing is just to fill up the spaces between the pictures and the pictures are just to fill up the pages..
