This is a great way to discover the range of Kenton recordings. Remastering is outstanding and especially good on the early discs, which come alive for those who remember 78s and LP incarnations. Even made the the selection from Graettinger's "City of Glass" sound good. Of course, this is only a start.And for those with a substantial Kenton collection there will be many duplicates, but the extensive book/notes is worth the price of a used copy.
