I was addicted to this game for 2 years. I have not played it in a few months now, but I still have fond memories of kicking [...] in team play with my roommate by my side. The single player mission is good fun, on par with other games of its age, and has good "scaryness" as well as a range of environments not typically seen in other shooters, such as WWII towns covered in snow & ancient, zombie infested basements.

The multiplayer game is where the real fun it at. The character classes are well balanced, and it is fun to play all 4. The maps that come with the game are OK, but the avialability of TONS of additional maps from the modification community make it really worth-while. Team play is a blast, with balanced weapons, good cheater-suppression and good controls. Well thought out game that incorporates most of the best aspects of multiplay from the time. A classic from the golden age of gaming.

2001's Return to Castle Wolfenstein remains almost a decade later a major landmark in the first-person WWII shooter genre. Even as newer titles with stronger 3D engines come out year after year, RtCW's solid gameplay makes it a good buy for any fan of the genre. It departs from the more mainstream WWII FPS category with a decided dark twist, involving the occult--but don't worry, there's still more than enough Nazis to battle through, and the level design is admirable. Its strong, coherent and interesting story line make the game even more immersive. It has a light learning curve, and a strong gamer can beat this one in just a week or so. If you haven't played it yet, then you really ought to look into this title.

Great Game - addictive - I went through the whole game then started over played it again and then started over again to play it a third time before removing it from the hard drive. Great graphics, sounds and realism. I understand that Hollywood is making a Escape from Castle Wolfenstein movie - I am looking forward to that!

This is a sequel to the original Wolfenstein game and I thoroughly enjoyed the many hours I spend playing the game. I reccomend this game to all action shooter enthusiasts.

This game, although used, is a great shooter. That's all I buy, and I am wanting the new Wolfenstein even though the critics say it is flawed.

One night I was sitting there thining about this game and how badly I missed playing it. I found it from a seller who rated it as "used- fair" condition when I got it in the mail, aside from a once inch crack in the case it was mint. Great game brought back lots of memmories.

The disk wouldn't work so I never did get to play this game. The vendor was good about refunding me though, which kept this in the "good experience" column. My thanks go to the vendor. Hopefully, I'll get a chance to play this game someday.

Ever remember that old game you loved to play,and when You go back to play it 6 years later and it sucked?That is not the case here.I sold my copy 4 years ago,I kicked my self for doing that.This game is still a great game.You can't play it on Microsoft Vista.But you can on XP,and on 7.XP and 7 real cool.Vista sucks.

For an old game, it had a good story and was very enjoyable to play.

I bought from activision and the download wouldnt work. Asked for my money back and have heard no reply. I have emailed them 4 times and yet do I see my refund. So I would be careful buying anything from them. By the way it was return to wolfenstein. Good Luck
