Margo Dean, CEO of a cosmetics company (Adrienne Barbeau) and her assistant, Benson come to the island under false pretenses as it is his fantasy to spend a weekend alone with her without business getting in the way. Also the Fabers who gave a child up for adoption and want to meet her. Lastly there are the Flemings who want to relive their honeymoon so that she (Karen Valentine) can remember who she is and her past.

WELL WHY WOULDN'T YOU WANT TO BUY THIS MOVIE SINCE YOU ARE A "FANTASY ISLAND" FAN! INSTEAD, BUY SEASON ONE. THIS MOVIE IS INCLUDED. NOW WHERE IS SEASON 2. SEASON 3. SEASON 4. SEASON 5. ETC. ETC. ETC.

I WOULD LIKE TO FINISH MY COLLECTION. HOPEFULLY THE REMAINING OF THE SEASONS WITH THE OCCASIONAL MOVIES WILL SEE THE LIGHT OF DAY SOON. I CAN'T HELP BUT TO WONDER HOW IS IT THAT LOVE BOAT HAS TWO SEASONS RELEASED BUT FANTASY ISLAND IS JUST SOMEWHERE SITTING ON A SHELF.

WHY ARE WE (THE CONSUMERS/VIEWERS) ALWAYS TEASED WITH JUST A BITE! WHY CAN'T WE HAVE THE WHOLE STEAK? I KNOW THAT IT HAS BEEN AT LEAST 2 YEARS SINCE SEASON 1 WAS RELEASED ON DVD. WHY MUST WE BEG! I FOR ONE IS SO READY FOR MORE OF THIS SHOW. THERE WAS NOTHING LIKE IT BEFORE OR SINCE. I DOUBT IF THERE WILL EVER BE ANYTHING LIKE IT AGAIN.

I AM SO READY TO HEAR TATTOO'S "THE PLANE, THE PLANE". AND MR. ROUKE'S "MY DEAR GUESTS, I AM MR. ROUKE, YOUR HOST. WELCOME TO FANTASY ISLAND". I MAY BE ONLY PARAPHRASING MR. ROUKE, BUT IT DOESN'T MATTER. I WANT MORE OF "FANTASY ISLAND" AND I WANT IT YESTERDAY. UNFORTUNATELY BOTH OF THE STARS HAVE PASSED ON. THAT SHOULD MAKE THE SHOW EVEN MORE ATTRACTIVE. NEITHER STAR WILL EVER BE AVAILABLE FOR ANOTHER INTERVIEW. AND THERE CAN NEVER BE ANY MORE EPISODES OR MOVIES MADE, EITHER.

OH WELL, THIS SHOW WAS FROM ANOTHER TIME. I JUST WISH SHOWS LIKE THIS WAS STILL BEING MADE.

Mr Roarke(Ricardo Montalban)and Tatoo(Herve Villechaize)are back in this nicely done 1978 TV Movie where 3 fantasies are brought to life 1.A couple ventures to meet the daughter that they gave up for adoption 12 years ago as long as they don't divulge their identity to her which Mr.Roarke has taken strict measures to enforce.2.A beautiful executive is lured to the island under false pretenses assuming that she is striking a lucrative business deal but is tricked by her employee who wants to confess his love for her.3.A young couple whose wife suffers from amnesia caused by a mysterious incident 4 years ago.Their past is recreated as a cure for her sickness.Guest stars in this cast include Adrenne Barbeau,Pat Crowley,Joseph Campanella,Karen Valentine,Laraine Day,Joseph Cotton and Cameron Mitchell.

I remember watching Fantasy Island and enjoyed it. This episode was pretty boring. It's not like the other ones I've watched. The picture quality was terrible! But then again it is on VHS. At least I got it for real cheap. No complaints here.
