I put this CD on at a party last week and can't begin to count how many people came up to me and said "I didn't know anyone was still making music like this." A very tasteful and entertaining live performance from this gifted arranger and producer as he returns to his jazz roots. Buy it. You won't regret it.

As soon as I got the cd, I was excited. Onajes other records had always been worth the wait and I had high expectations for this one. Return To Form was better than I had expected. My personal favorites: "First Time We Met", "Left Side Of Right", "Daydream", and "Quiet Passion". Actually I love them all but in this review I am limited to only 1,000 words, I'd rather use that space to give you some good advice. Buy 2 copies, one for you and one for that special someone in your life. Because, as soon as you play "Quiet Passion" or "First Time We Met" or any of the tracks, that someone will want to take it from you. Everytime I listen to the cd, I think of my wife and the love we have. To my Onaje Allan Gumbs has brought "Musical Romance" back to true Jazz. He is one of the greats getting better every recording. Buy 2! or 3 to keep one in car and one in the house and one for that special someone.
