i am glad someone still knows how to rock,

yes, no backstreet boys wanna be's and top 40 punks here. Once again Anthrax arrives in time for the holidays to bring cheer and merriment to the headbanger in your family. This cd offers something for both the new and old fans. Excellent remixes of Potters Field and Hi Pro Glo. A for effort on Ball of Confusion. Who else is crazy enough to have their old singer perform a duet with the current vocalist. Like most greatest hits ambitions there are going to be fans that felt that their personal favorite song was left out but this compilation is for the true Anthrax fan not the posers.

Great collection of Anthrax tunes... but...,

This review is from: Return of the Killer A's: Best of Anthrax (Audio CD)
This is a killer collection of the best of Anthrax new and old. It has two killer re-mixes, but the ONLY problem I have with the album is that "I'm The Man" is the RADIO-FRIENDLY version! Given all the past "anti-censorship" statements of Anthrax (check out "Startin' Up a Posse" on "Attack of the Killer B's"), I think it was a very bad move on behalf of the band to put the censored version of one of their most fun songs! That's why I give it 4 stars instead of 5. But, if you don't mind that slight oversight, then order this album now!

GOOD PLACE TO START FOR NEW FANS, AND A MUST FOR OLD FANS!,

This review is from: Return of the Killer A's: Best of Anthrax (Audio CD)
At 16 tracks and nearly seventy five minutes, Return Of The Killer A's is quite a healthy (haha) dose of Anthrax! Great song selection from the Belladonna era AND the Bush era, including a cool couple of remixes, "Potters Field" and "Hy Pro Glo". All the standout tracks, the aforementioned remixes, and a brand new (stroke of pure genius!) cover version of "Ball Of Confusion" with both Belladonna and Bush (! ) sharing the mike, make this a must have CD for old and new fans alike! Really whets the appetite for the upcoming 2000 studio album! Now stop reading this review and order it now!
