This was no exception... I actually downloaded it as a paid read, so to see it as a freebie for Kindle, I just want to tell people to DOWNLOAD IT FAST! Fun characters, great dialogue, wonderful story. Kate Perry does not disappoint!

This was the first book by this author and I loved it. All the characters were well developed and the dialogue was easy to read & funny. Lots of emotions between characters. Olivia & Michael were best friends since they were 6 years old, and dated all through high school. Olivia was raised by her gran, after her mother died at age 4 and her father dropped her off saying he couldn't raise her anymore. After high school, her father, a hollywood producer, comes back to town to offer Michael a chance to his dream to direct movies. He leaves Olivia heartbroken. 11 years later is where the book starts. Olivia's father decides to film a movie in her hometown bringing Michael with him. Michael and Olivia are pushed together and try to fight old feelings, especially anger, yet they can't keep there hands off each other. For the first time in awhile in my reading I felt real love & passion between the characters. There were a lot of passionate, hot love scenes that included chocolate & handcuffs for play. Truly is a great love story.

The story is about Olivia and Michael's relationship and rekindling old love, Olivia and her father (Everett), who never really had a relationship to begin with try to forgive and start over. There is also a side story about Laine, Everett's assistant, and her feelings for him she has been hiding and her softening him up. It was hard to put this book down. I did not read the first two books in this series and didn't feel lost, so its a stand alone. I will certainly look for the next book and pay for it (this was free). I highly recommend.

I downloaded it to my kindle around 9:00pm last night and finished it around noon today. It look me a little time to get past the first few chapters but I made myself keep going and im glad I did. Very cute book, predictable plot but I enjoyed that along with the characters. A+++
