If you liked "Return to Neverland", then you're gonna love the soundtrack! I bought the soundtrack BEFORE I saw the movie, which was pretty stupid, but luckily, I loved the movie. *LOL*

I think that the soundtrack is really worth the money! Yeah sure, most of it is backround music, but it's really cool! I'd have to say that my favorite song on the whole soundtrack, would be "I'll Try". It's a "moving" song. If you know what I mean. :-)I really recommend you buy it!!

I agree with review #1 100%. Jonatha's songs are enough of a reason for anyone to buy and love this CD. She is a treasure.

Have to say I hated the movie, but when the song 'I'll Try' played, I immediately recognized the amazing talent of Jonatha Brooke. It is a beautiful song and if you enjoy it, I highly recommend you listen to her other stuff. She has several solo albums, all of which are good, but her best work (in my opinion)is the stuff she did as part of a Boston based duo called 'The Story'. Their album 'Grace in Gravity', is one of my all time favorites. The harmonies on the album are astounding and complex. Jonatha has a penchant for minor keys and her phrasing is unmistakeable. Superb stuff for the music enthusiast.

The only reason I purchased this CD is because of Jonatha Brooke. I'm a huge supporter of this very talented artist. She sings "Second Star To the Right" from the original, and wrote and performs "I'll Try", a beautiful song that reoccurs throughout the film and the end credits. The New York Time reviewed this film on 2/15 and mentioned this song as "One of the sturdiest to grace a Disney film." This could easily be an oscar-nominated song.

The rest of the CD is beautifully orchestrated, containing the score of the film. Brooke, however, makes the CD something special.

Joel McNeely's rousing score for RETURN TO NEVERLAND can be easily compared with John Williams' famous HOOK, for his orchestral grandeur, but Joel McNeely convokes here some magical harmonies and themes that remains pure McNeely sound, with a new sweet and enjoyable touch, unavoidable with a Disney movie. Here is certainly his best composition with IRON WILL and SHADOWS OF THE EMPIRE.
The song by Jonatha Brooke is some fun easy listening, and adds the context of our time to the universality of Joel McNeely wondrous symphonic efforts.
The CD is made for all old time swashbuckling film music lovers. E.W. Korngold himself would not deny it.

Personally I love Peter Pan things and that "I'll Try..."song made me cry when I saw it in the movie theater,And really all these songs are great...They make me feel like I never wanna grow up also...:)Those songs have that way that move you,Like make you sad....And man...I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!:)PETER PAN ALL THE WAY!Wahooo!:)

The music is exactly what you expect from the movie. The seller was great and everything worked out fine.
