Great book if you want to know the why's, how's and what to do next for the falcon. Nice pictures and account about real people who started the movement to restrict DDT's that were killing off a lot of living creatures. This book concentrates on the falcon what a group did trying to revive the species. I live in one of the cities mentioned that have multiple falcon nests and there is a web cam to watch the eggs being laid, hatching, feedings and fledging. After viewing these things, I was told about this book and it emcompasses the whole process of bringing the falcons back from extinction. Worth the cost.
