About the Author
Imam Abu Hamid al-Ghazali (1058-1111)is one of the most outstanding personalities in the history of Islamic thought. He mastered the Islamic sciences of law (fiqh), creed (aqida), legal theory (usul), kalam (theology), and philosophy (falsafa). He authored numerous works on these subjects including 'The Incoherence of the Philosophers', 'Deliverence from Error', and his major work 'The Revival of the Religious Sciences'. A Return to Purity in Creed is his final work before his death in 505AH
