This was Viguen's last production before his passing away in October 2003.

The song "Baazgasht (return)" is a luxurious production that has real acoustic drums and guitars. It has been nicely engineered and sounds fantastic. His voice fits perfectly, the melancholic song. The lyrics are perfect for being one of his last recordings, since they give a nice retrospective on the significance of this goodlooking male singer for pop music in Iran.

Throughout the years this artist produced many fine tracks. Most went to become immensely popular in Iran. This, his last album before passing away in an untimely manner, was no exception to the rule. A delight to listen to, it takes you back to a time when cultural freedom was taken for granted in that land. In fact in one of the tunes on the CD the singer laments being away from his native land. It is a bitter sweet album reminding us for the last time that the man behind it was one of the most talented singers/musicians of Iran.
Loved it.

Having Viguen back is like a miracle. The new album of Viguen is the best I have ever heared. Probably not as interesting as his very old songs, but it is not kind of mad Persian music from L.A. With this album you can laugh or cry! Listen to it and judge it yourself.
