This review is from: Returning Cycles: Contexts for the Interpretation of Schubert's Impromptus and Last Sonatas (California Studies in Nineteenth Century Music) (Hardcover)
An amazing exploration of some of Schuberts finest piano works - his late piano works. Not an easy read, but well worth the effort. In particular, the chapters on his impromptus are superb.
