Old , but certainly not 'dated',

This review is from: The Reunion at Carnegie Hall, The Weavers 1963, Pt. 2 (Audio CD)
I first listened to this concert on vinyl LPs in the mid 1960s. My friend's father had this, and "The Weavers On Tour". I absolutely fell in love with the music and the songs. The Weavers, Pete Seeger, and Woody Guthrie were important influences in the develpment of modern folk music. The songs may be a bit dated now, but the message is as important today as it was in the 1960s. Thanks Amazon for keeping such important and truly timeless music available and in such excellent quality on today's CDs.
