5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome, July 7, 2008

This review is from: Reunions Can Be Murder (Worldwide Library Mysteries) (Mass Market Paperback)
Part of the Charlie Parker mystery series by Connie Shelton, Reunions Can Be Murder revolves around PI Charlie Parker (a woman, despite the name) who is hired to find 80+ year old Willie McBide. McBride's aggressive daughter Dorothy wants him found before the big family reunion. People begin to die and no one knows who to blame. A few strange townspeople act a little weird and don't really tell all they know. There are plenty of secrets kept here.
An awesome read, it really keeps you not wanting to put the book down and not venture into any old gold mines in the southwest =]

This review is from: Reunions Can Be Murder (Worldwide Library Mysteries) (Mass Market Paperback)
I had never heard of Connie Shelton until I was in a used bookstore looking for my next read. Here I found Shelton's 'Reuinions Can Be Murder'. She is a talented author and in this book she is very good at getting the reader to get a great feel for the characters. Not to mention that the story itself is a great mystery and a very fun read that makes you not want to put this book down!
