These bags are like most bags you can buy at the grocery store, Wal-Mart, Target, etc. They're sturdy, have an insert to add structure and strength to the bottom, and have strong handles. I am able to pack a lot of groceries or other shopping goods into these bags. I like these bags better than my other bags mostly for the fun colors; I use them as Christmas gift bags. On the negative side, the bags smell awful when you first open the box. If let the bags air out for a few days the smell will go away.

I found this to be more than enough for shopping. I actually use them elsewhere. I will put baby toys in one to carry it around house, if I goto pool I will bring one. They are very handy. I like no store logos, I like how they hold a TON. I use to use 20 plastic bags in a trip I use 5 of these. Very nice little bags.

The bags could have gone without coming with "a world of thanks" and a globe printed on them because the printing is of such horrible quality and the bags look as if they want you to remove the plastic bottoms so that you can fold them. I have left the plastic bottoms in place and folded them around the bottoms(the way it should have been done). These are the same bags you see at walmart and grocery stores that are not made from cotton. they are a type of plastic and made in china... two strikes for these bags but for the price... they are light weight (unlike cotton canvas bags)and you can go to any grocery store without having the logo of a different store on the outside of the bag. There should be some way to bundle them together too. right now they are in one of the bags in my trunk, which takes more room than a potential bundle of them.
as for the pluses... 1)Reusable 2)nonbranded 3)feels great to carry... no sharp plastic to cut into your fingers(especially nice for those short shopping trips where you only need the little hand basket and you walk out with 4 or 5 plastic bags cutting into your fingers.) All in all good bags and we will see how they last in the long run.
