I had purchased a different protective film product for a different camera and that worked great.

Then I attempted to install this protective film. The protective film fit my Panasonic DMC-FZ18 LCD screen. After reading the instructions and applying the protective film there were several air bubbles which couldn't be removed. When the film was removed and reapplied there were even more air bubbles which could not be removed. A third attempt made it even worse. I finally gave up and permanently removed the film.

The tab on the screen protector will leave a residue that is impossible to get off. In trying to remove it, I got some on my camera screen. I took it off and threw it in the trash! Won't try this again...

I was very disappointed in this product. Purchased for Canon SX10 IS.
The tab that you pull off WILL leave residue on the LDC screen if you have to remove and readjust.
I do not recommend nor will purchase this product again.

Reasonably easy to put on LCD screen w/o air bubbles (with patience).
Remember to measure your screen diagonally to get correct fit. The 2.5 inch protector fits well on my Canon Rebel XS (2.5" monitor)

I just got this item and it was very easy to use once you read the info on how to apply it on the screen of your camera.
it goe's on the screen very easy and with the use of the soft card any bubbles on the screen will be removed
I just order 3 more packs for the rest of my camera's.

PRODUCT SEEMS EASY TO USE BUT, THE TAB LEAVES A RESIDUE THAT IS DIFFICULT OR IMPOSSIBLE TO REMOVE. IT IS TO COME WITH CLEANING CLOTH.
I DID NOT RECEIVE THE CLEANING CLOTH AND THE VENDOR NEVER RESPONED.

TRY ANOTHER PRODUCT AND VENDOR.

We are very please that we bought this product and when we put it on our camera you can not tell that it is there.

I purchased this cover and dump it to the garbage after stick it on my canon A590is for about 10 seconds. I cleaned the lcd surface before i stick it, and after i stick on the lcd, i've noticed there's a bubble right on the edge of it, i saw a really small hair-like thing underneath, and so i undo it on that particular area, took the hair and stick it back. Somehow it couldn't stick back and the bubble still there, and when i look at it carefully, i saw a very very little fold that i made from that process. I was disappointed that the material was really weak, i was real real careful when i did it. So at that point i was like, hell with it .. i dump it right away!

Second of all that made me did that was, beware .. it doesnt cover the whole LCD like i was expected, it's only covered the active lcd area, i can't say nothing cos it's 2.5" .. but noticed that there's a gap on each sides. This can cause the dust to linger between cover's edge and the edge of the lcd. So for the size i can't complain, my mistake for not understanding about the screen size just thought it was gonna cover everything.

It might have been my mistake, but the product itself was too weak. In other words .. i'm not satisfied! Found the one on best buy a lot better, with grid marks so you can cut following the lines depends on your needs.
