Reusable Screen Protector for Sony DSC-HX1

This reusable screen is 3.0" across while the full screen pane of DSC-HX100V is 3 7/16" leaving an awkward gap across the pane over the LCD screen.

I do not recommend this product to be used on DSC-HX100V with the current dimension.

Shipped well in time but is not a proper fit on the camera.

The only reason I didn't give this a 5 star is because it doesn't cover the entire piece of glass on my Sony HX1. It protects 3 inch screens and my actual LCD is 3 inches, but there is another half inch of glass that makes up the screen that is left unprotected. Would've been nice.

THe "screen" protector is nothing more than a slightly think piece of plastic. It does not cover the whole screen. It definitely is not worth the purchase. I've bought a previous screen cover for the same price that was a full piece of glass that actually protects the whole screen. I would recommend buying one of those over this plastic one. The reason I looked for a new one is becuase the old glass on did it job and protected the glass screen from a bump. The glass cover cracked but the the screen was saved. This plastic one definitely would not have done the same. This one *may* protect some of the glass from light scratches but not from anything substantial. This protector is definitely a disappointment and feels very cheap. Don't bother, save your money.

Fits the Sony DSC-HX1 screen perfectly with nothing unprotected. This is a must have addition to protect the screen of the best little camera made.

This product is GREAT! It is in fact REUSABLE. If you make a mistake when applying to your LCD you do have a second chance unlike one screen protector I used before. All you have to do is wash it in soapy warm water and wait for it to dry (leave the non-sticky side down when drying). Once dried the sticky part becomes sticky again and just size it up where you would like it to lay and it forms itself to the LCD and that usually works. I have changed it to another cameara with the same size LCD because I had a camera to return. I have washed the reusable screen protector approx 4 times and it still sticks and works great. This is a non-professional review and my verision only. I plan on buying more since it work well for me. Good luck!

The product quality is OK for this money, however it doesn't cover the whole screen. I would have rated it 5 stars, if the screen had been covered completely.

This screen protector is very well made (more than most I have ever used...except my beloved ZAGG). It clings well with no sign of wear or lack of hold after almost 6 months of use. As far as I am concerned it is worth beyond the little money I spent (got it on sale).

Provides durable, clear protection, but I'm not sure how it would be reusable. If I removed it I'm sure the sticky side would get at least a little dirty and I would not want to reuse that.

I own several of Sony's digital cameras. This one, like the others, does what I want it to do - No fuss, no bother. Cameras do one thing, take photos. If the person taking the photo knows what he wants, he can usually find a comera that will do just that. I always buy an additional battery with each camera and am always supplied with power. This camera has done everything that I wished it to do. I am sure that there are people who can find its limitations not to their high standards, but it does exactly what I want. Can you ask for more than this.
