5.0 out of 5 stars Stunning!
A fine little stop-gap release that grows on you as you delve into it. Hans Rotenberry is the writer of many fine tunes and here are six of his coolest compositions as well as a well thought out reworking of the Beatles' musique concrete piece Revolution 9. Of course, anyone who digs guitar-based rock should get their other CD's, 1997's eponymous debut and their...

3.0 out of 5 stars It's no Godspeed
This EP is O.K., but includes some filler tracks, including the cut and paste, failed experiment of a title track. The original tracks are decent, but not really worth the price of admission. If you're new to The Shazam, you must check out their prior release Godspeed The Shazam, just possibly one of the top five to ten power pop albums of all-time! I kid you not. If...

Look for their new release TOMORROW THE WORLD, which hits the streets in the fall of 2002. It too, is BRILLIANT.

If you're new to The Shazam, you must check out their prior release Godspeed The Shazam, just possibly one of the top five to ten power pop albums of all-time! I kid you not. If you happen upon The Shazam live, bring your ear plugs! They played a ridiculously loud, distorted mix of new material, as well as a few classics from Godspeed, at a recent show in Chicago. I'll stick with the studio version of The Shazam.
