Rev-A-Shelf Door Mount Kit for RV Series White

I purchased the Rev-A-Shelf 20Qt Pull-Out Waste Bin White together with this mounting kit. Sadly, the screws included in the mounting kit don't work. You'll need to get the flat head (6/32) screws to connect the mounting kit to the slider. That way, the screw head is leveled with the slider and the whole thing can actually slide freely. I'd wish the manufacture tests out the kit on all of their RV products.

Installed on full slide wastebasket slide out. Only way to clear the cabinet door hinges. Had no problem with flat head screws in the frame for my waste basket slide out.

As another reviewer noted, the screws supplied with this kit and shown on the instructions don't work with Rev-A-Shelf 20Qt Pull-Out Waste Bin White, although it is recommended for the RV series. Amazon even shows it in the "customers who bought this item also bought..." list. The truss head screws supplied with the kit hit the nylon rollers on the base, preventing the slider from being inserted. I had to enlarge and countersink the holes on the slider to be able to use 6/32" flat head screws. That is a very difficult task for anyone who doesn't have access to a metal shop. This is a huge design oversight. Unacceptable.

Be careful when measuring the width of your cabinet door interior construction. I had to flip the brackets (opposite of installation diagram), to enable them to align with the frame of the cabinet door and not the panel. Other than that it was relatively easy. Hope this helps.

I rec'd this product last week along with the Rev a Shelf and was able to install it relatively easily. The mount kit came with a few bags of hardware, and after a little checking / sizing, was able to install no problem. While the directions weren't the clearest I've seen, by looking at the illustrations and matching up the parts, was able to complete relatively quickly. I am not the handiest of folks around but was able to complete with out any issues. I did need to use the spacers but was glad they were included and no problems like previous posts of the included hardware not fitting or preventing the shelf for sliding in/out.

The hardware included with this door mounting kit does fit with the compoments provided. Specifically the bolts provided to attach the L-Bracket to the door bracket don't screw in because they are the wrong size. In order to install this product I had to rummage through miscellaneous bolts, nuts and washers I had here at the house to find combos that worked. I ultimately got it installed and it works great (with my hardware). I did not return the product because I had to get my kitchen put back together before the holidays.

I contacted customer support and they were not aware of this problem and thanked me for bringing it to their attention. They offerred to send out new brackets and hardware.

I will say... once I got it installed it works great!

Loved this product, bought it with the rev-a-shelf sliding trash cans and it works perfectly. I love that you can attach the door to this unit since it really completes the kitchen and looks professional. A must have for everyone!

Purchased the door mount kit and ended up knocking into it and dis-lodging a track along with the bearings. Called rev a shelf and they shipped me new tracks immediately free of cost. Very satisfied customer.

This really complimented the door slide kit we also bought. very easy to install and make adjustments if you need them.

As two others have noted, the standard screws stick out too far for the trash to slide back in! I have the 30qt model. But, the kit also includes flat head screws that are designed for the 20 and 30qt models. Their directions are not real clear on this however. I haven't tested it because I found that I could squeeze the 35qt model into my cabinet, and it is a much more solid design than the 20 or 30qt models. The backing works fine on the 35qt model, getting everything lined up is reasonably easy with the spacers and sticky tape they provide.
