I'm refinishing 1980's cabinets in my kitchen and purchased this tip out tray to add to the updated feel. The installation instructions are confusing, but you can figure it out very easily on your own (I only ended up with a couple of extra holes (: Helpful hint: remove the springs from the hinges while you're installing them to the cabinet box, then put them back to attach to the drawer front. I also recommend moving the tray down a bit if you have enough room. The instructions said to mark a line 1/8" down from the top, put the top of the tray there and mark the holes for the screws that hold it. I have a large sponge and it got stuck and the door wouldn't close with it installed at that measurement. I dropped it down another 1/2 inch and it's perfect. A great addition to any kitchen and a definite plus for an update project!

The tray was easy to install. It operates exactly as according to its purpose. It is worth the money paid.

This is the best minor home improvement item I have ever used. Simple yet sooooooo usefull. So cool in fact that I put one in both my parents homes too.Great for the messy sponges and baby bottle washers. Easy to install as well. Took approx 30 minute each time. Awesome!!!!

I bought this for under my sink, and am buying two more for my bathroom and my tiny little island. I have weird european cabinets, so the instructions provided really didn't apply since I got the tip out version. Ultimately I had to have Ace hardware rip me two strips of wood that I have to stain (but they are 95% behind the drawer when it is closed, so not a big deal. Basically ended up being a custom job for me. But soooo worth the effort in the end! The quality is very good, especially the hinges!

The Ovis web site description of this item begins: "Every kitchen/bathroom sink base should have a tip-out tray system," and they're absolutely correct. I just installed one in the kitchen, and am buying two more for the bathrooms. It does take more time and effort to "retro-fit" these trays to cabinets where the sinks are already installed, but the end result is well worth it. Two points regarding comments I've read in other reviews: (1) I found that the quality and sturdiness of all the parts (especially the hinges) included in the kit was more than adequate for the task at hand. (2) The only part of the installation instructions I found confusing was the section on positioning/mounting the cabinet panel to the hinges. My solution was to disregard the instructions and temporarily install a wooden block 6"L x 3"H x 3/4"D with two screws on the bottom inside of the panel BEFORE removing it from the cabinet. (The bottom of the block is snugged DOWN against the horizontal cabinet facepiece and secured with the screws.) Then - after installing the hinges on the sides of the cabinet - it is a relatively easy matter to reposition the front panel and attach the hinges, since all that is now necessary is to center the panel from side-to-side. (The temporary block of wood rests on the cabinet's horizontal facepiece and positions the panel vertically.)

Nice stainless steel tray. I wish it was a little deeper like my old one, but it is a good replacement.
