Magnificent,
This review is from: Revelation 666: Curse of Damnation (Audio CD)
I am a new fan of this fantastic band, and this was the first album I stumbled upon. From the moment I popped it into my CD player - and I was absolutely compelled.. COULD not wrench my attention away. The music is dense, dark and a solid wall of uncomprimising evil melody. Production is solid, the drums especially are a slab of crashing noise.. I am not a fan of overuse of guitars in my music, but OMC makes their guitars truely symphonic in their sweeping nature.
This album stomps over a cold and barren landscape and then kicks your teeth in to finish it all! A must have, I cannot recommend it enough.

This CD rocks!...,
By Pablosa (Buenos Aires, Capital Federal Argentina) - See all my reviews

I love this album! I'm not a big black metal fan, I listen to some black metal bands though such as Emperor, Sacramentum, Satyricon. As I was saying, I love this album. It has an extraordinary combination of melodies, different tempos, lots of keyboards and vocals that seem to come directly from hell. The keyboards create different atmospheres, from the most violent and aggressive to beautiful and sweet melodies. Another positive part is that I can listen to the whole album and not getting bored. It's really versatile with lots of changes of rhythms. This album was produced by P.T. at The Abyss (Hypocrisy, Edge of Sanity, Children of Bodom) so you can expect an incredible sound. The only thing that annoys me is that it has only eight songs. Let me tell you that with albums like this I'm sure I'll go further into the black metal kingdom...

Who cares? Dimmu Borgir or Old Man's Child?,
By A Customer
This review is from: Revelation 666: Curse of Damnation (Audio CD)
I bought this CD because I love black metal and like Old Man's Child. Yes some songs in this album may sound similar to Dimmu Borgir's latest cd. but who cares! Old Man and Dimmu are like bestest friends and have done several split albums. Dimmu Borgir's old drummer was origanly from Old Mans Child. These guys like grew up together! It dosent matter if they sound the same at all! This album is by far the best Old Man's Child CD ever. Compare if you want, but your not doing yourself any good.
