A fabulous cross genre novel,

This review is from: Revelation: The epic novel about Israel and its magical future (Paperback)
I first came across Revelation back in the early 80's, (after reading Harbinson's other master work, Genesis), and found it quite startling. Since then the world has turned full circle, and this new publication is strangely contemporary. The theme is the return, perhaps the Second Coming, of an enigmatic figure who may or may not have been Jesus. What his appearance does to the Holy Land, and the wider world, is something that is begging to be made into a blockbuster movie. Good news, it's already been optioned by Hollywood. Although billed as 'the greatest reigious novel of our time' this is really an action packed thriller, with a religious theme, that encompasses smart SF, politics, faith, love and the build up to global conflict. Do yourself a favour, and read it now!

This review is from: Revelation: The epic novel about Israel and its magical future (Paperback)
I was disappointed in the theme of this novel, although everything else about it is in the highest category of skill by the author. Of course, it's an older production, and I'm reading it today, not way back when it was written/published. I prefer his other works (the UFO Projeck, etc)
