Before I dedicated myself to the Lord I spent years listening to a lot of secular rap. Rappers such as Three Six Mafia, Do or Die, Crucial Conflict, Twista, Kingpin Skinny Pimp, Playa Fly, Gangsta Blac, Bone Thugs-in-Harmony and many others of similar genre filled my playlists. Now while the lyrics from these artists are now very offensive to me, they always did provide very good music and beats.

For years now I have been away from rap as I never really found many artists in the Christian world that met my tastes, that is until I found GeeDA on rapzilla.com

GeeDA definitely has that Chicago style of rap with a quick rap style and great beats. GeeDA also has a mix of the south in there using lots of synthesized horns, fast hi-hats, and quick bass hits mixed with prolonged deep bass. He has Biblically inspired lyrics and generally raps about the Lord, spreading the gospel, spiritual warfare, and the temptations that we all face day to day
Revelations
I definitely recommend GeeDA to anyone that enjoys the music style of Three Six Mafia (Triple Six Mafia), Twista, Do or Die, and the general sound of artists that come from the Memphis to Atlanta areas without all the trash lyrics that only bring society down. You will not be disappointed.

Quick review of the album Revelations -

I like ALL the songs on this album. GeeDA mixes a paced rap style, a quick tongue twisting style, and even singing some of the choruses which come out real well.

Here are my FAVORITE tracks:

What Chu Been - This is my favorite song on the whole album easy.
Tha Kang - I love the horns on this track as well as the music during the chorus.
