This was a very good read and I enjoyed the book. It shows what some people do for love and how love can blind us. Unfortunately, some of the women in this book had to learn this the hard way, but at least they learned from their mistakes. Latrese Carter is becoming one of my favorite authors and I can't wait for her next novel. Keep up the good work Ms. Carter!!!

I truly enjoyed this novel. I could not put this book down. I was not disappointed at all. Ms. Jewel overcame a lot of hardship, but she never gave up.

Liar , Liar

Like the first book written by Latrese Carter this book is a must have. It's a great romantic story. If you haven't read it yet then you are missing some good stuff by this author.

Revelations by Latrese N. Carter, is the second book that I've read by this new artist. I was truly enjoyed her first book "Liar, Liar". But, Revelations somehow, really brought out emotions in me. I felt like I was not just reading the story, but I felt like I was dimensionally involved with the story line.

I am strictly a Metro transit reader, but, I tried to steal time to get "just one more page" read. For me, there were so many unexpected turn of events that it became harder and harder to commit to that "just one more page" thought.

Jewell Winters is the main character, her life as is was depicted in this story is truly inspiring. She experiences so much, that everyone could take just a small piece of her life and find themselves.

To grow with Jewell and her family and friends, lends one to believe that nothing is impossible. I found the entire storyline very satisfying.

I would recommend this book to ALL.

I truly look forward to Latrese N. Carter next release.

I can see a part II or even a screenplay from this book!!!!

REVELATIONS WAS A REAL GOOD IT SHOWD WHAT CAN HAPPEN TO A PERSON WHO LOSE SO MUCH BUT STILL COMES OUT ON TOP SO FOR ALL THE PEOPLE WHO LOVE TO READ THIS IS A MUST GET.

REVELATIONS by Latrese N. Carter tells the story of a young woman, Jewell Winters, who has had a hard life. She grew up with an abusive mother but a loving father. She wanted to get a college degree but her lack of self-confidence stymied her in that area. While working as a dental assistant, she met Brett and Thad and adored them both. Dealing with her low self-esteem, she slept with them and gave birth to a beautiful little daughter, Morgan. For four years she thought Brett was the father and she and Morgan lived with him. Imagine her surprise when she saw Thad again years later and saw her daughter's face staring back at her. What a dilemma for Jewel: if she demands a DNA test, it could ruin her life with Brett. On the other hand, if she doesn't Morgan may never know her real father. For days, she ponders the problem, becoming more and more anxious. At last, she decides to ask the men for the test. What will the outcome be?

Jewell discovers Thad is about to marry the same woman he was seeing when Morgan was conceived, and she has never liked Jewell. Since Thad isn't about to give her up, the drama kicks up a notch. Brett definitely isn't pleased about doubts of his parentage and he becomes a bit testy.

REVELATIONS is a drama-filled love story that no doubt happens more often than we know: a young woman who doesn't think much of herself, men who are willing to take advantage, and support from her sister and friends. Latrese N. Carter has captured a real-life situation and put it on paper so we can all relate to some part of it. It is well-written, realistic, filled with suspense and thought provoking. I found once I started reading it, I couldn't put it down.

Revelations By Latrese Carter is a story about Jewel Winters in her quest to overcome. She's a single mother of a little girl named Morgan and this story chronicles all of the obstacles she went through to rise to the top. From the very beginning you are pulled into the life of Jewel and everyone else around her and it was hard to put this book down. The plot was definitely interesting and the progression of the story was great. Latrese has done a wonderful job of creating a tale of surviving against all odds and still coming out on top. If you pick up this story you will not be disappointed. Job well done!

"Revelations," written by Latrese N. Carter, is a fast-paced, electrifying, story about a young lady who experiences a series of life's challenges, ultimately overcoming most of these challenges.

Revelations is a real page turner, with exciting themes about life and lots of good information for overcoming life's obstacles. I could not put this book down. Can't wait for the next book by Ms. Carter.

I really enjoyed reading this book as it is filled w/ twists and turns and is just as capitivating as "Liar Liar", the debut novel from Latrese Carter. I highly recommend both books.

Latrese Carter has done it again, giving fans of her writing a delightful, heart-wrenching at times, funny at times, look into the life of Jewel. Fans of Liar, Liar will enjoy this novel as well and will definitely be inspired. You simply will not be able to put it down...
