I knew Ma$e the rapper from the television, videos and radio like most of us. I remember hearing when he first got saved and I was not really surprised because I know first hand the power of God. And if you know God, you don't become surprised when He does something, something new, something different, that is just God. He is the only one that can do such things. I never doubted Ma$e or Pastor Mason Betha's salvation, because of the power of God. When I heard he wrote a book, the first thing that came to my mind was, you have to get it, so I did. This book I read in less than one day, and that never happens to me. I usually start a book and finish it, if I finish a month or 2 later. The book was very interesting from the time I opened up until the end. Pastor Betha reveals everything from the time he was a kid up until now, with so much detail and emphasis. Pastor Mason Betha is truly annointed and God is really on his side. This book is knowledgable, interesting, entertaining and most of all enlightening. I highly recommend this book to everyone. Pastor Mason Betha, God Bless and I hope this is not your first and last book!

Everyone, saved and unsaved, should read this book. All Pastors and youth leaders should read this book. All parents of young people should read this book. Anyone who watches music videos should read this book. All recording artists involved with gospel, urban gospel, hip-hop gospel, jazz gospel, r & b gospel, rock gospel, and any other "contemporary" gospel MUST READ THIS BOOK.
Pastor Mason Betha is truly what the body of Christ needs today - a young man, totally unashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I had the privilege of hearing him preach when he came back to my church where he first came to the altar. I had not listened to any of his previous recordings, as I am not a follwer of rap music, but I will say that he is a powerful, powerful preacher today. After reading his book in January, I was encouraged to strengthen my own walk with God. Pastor Betha is preaching the same message that my pastor has been preaching for years - Holiness. I am encouraged to pray for the others that are still in the strongholds of the industry that he left behind, because now we know, more than ever, that God can save ANYBODY. We are truly living in the last days.

When I bought this book I honestly didn’t know what to expect. I was curious about the change MA$E had experienced. I have to admit I was a fan of MA$E music and style. When I opened the book and started reading, I was truly impressed with what I was seeing the words were talking to me as if I was in church and Pastor Mason Betha was at the pulpit telling his story. I felt that close! It’s amazing what GOD can do with his children; I never once took this whole Paster Manson Betha drama seriously didn’t even care until now. This book tells the experience MA$E went through with the money, cars, girls, drugs, and sex. He tells the life of when Mase was an average person determined to make it big as a rapper or ball player. When he turned to rap he was known as MA$E the moneymaker down for whatever kind of guy. It’s funny how people change when you become globally known, well Mason tells his experience in this book. After being lost, GOD calls on MA$E and uses his soul to teach the word of faith and to save as many people who come in contact with him. Imagine GOD telling you to give up everything sin produced for you. Your house, cars, jewelry, clothes, furniture, women/men, sex, money, job, friends - in order to walk his way of life! Could you do it? Mason Betha did. I truly respect Mason; he’s a determined individual who knows what he wants. There’s no limitation to what Mason Betha can accomplish when GOD is at his feet to guide him. Mason Betha is a dangerous man in a spiritual way!

This book has hit me so hard like a tonne of bricks..his whole life story is amazing & inspirational,his words are very powerful as are his sermons he offers after each chapter.
After reading this,my whole outlook of this world from my perspective has changed,i would like to follow in mason betha's footsteps,wash out all the evil things that are in my life today, & start living for god.

Revelations was an excellent book. I remember when I bought it. It took me one day to read it.It was incredible,I really gained a whole new level of respect for mase. His book made me realize that you don't need to have all the money, cars, and other material things to be happy. I am really proud of his decision and I pray that he continues to do well in Gods work. For any one who is thinking about reading this book, don't think no more and just buy it. He did an excellent job and I would recomend it to any young person.
Especially all the fellas who want to be in the "game", Pastor Mason Betha makes you see that everything that glisten don't gleam.I love you and God Bless You Mason!!!

This book that Pastor Mason Betha has written for the world to read, felt more like a personal gift that he has given to me. Prior to reading it, I struggled so very much with letting that old rapper MA$E go. I spoke with Mason Betha twice over the phone for about an hour, and his words were so encouraging and profound, just as in his book. He discussed with me some of the things that was covered in his book already. Most importantly, he kept it real. Well, this 'gift' has killed all curiosity and desires I had for that old rapper MA$E, as well as strengthed my love for GOD even more. Pastor Betha tells you all and more about him. His sermons are incredible, and has helped me. Mason has shown me that I do not need men like 'MA$E' in my life, and to waitheth (not wait) for the Lord. I wish him the best in his future with Christ and also with his new wife. God Bless!

I admit I bought the book out of curiousity. I guess I thought I was going to judge him. However, the words spoken by Mason has changed me. He is a true man of God who followed God's voice at a time when he really had the world in his hands. I was one who would sit and watch the videos and envy the lifestyle the entertainers appear to have, however, this book has made me see what the Bible has said all along, "What profits a man to gain the world and then lose his soul." Mason is speaking on a level that the hardest and toughest person you know can relate to. This book is for the young, the old, the saved and lost. This book was written by God through Mason. Praise God. I will continue to pray for him and his ministry. God Bless.

I was one of those lost saints who did not want MA$E to leave the music industry, because I enjoyed his music and his persona so much. In April 99 when I first heard MA$E was leaving indefinietly, I wanted to know what was his next step, was he going to succeed, did he really give up everything and was he going on this path alone. I was fortunate enough to speak with Pastor Betha over the phone for about an hour, and he began to tell me things that helped me to understand his decision and also that helped me to look deeper within my own spiritual being. At that point, most of my questions became answered and I felt relieved because I knew that Pastor Betha was in wonderful hands, he's in GOD's hands. He is painfully honest yet his words are powerful and very inspirational. He is straight forward, yet very easy to talk to. He appeals to our younger generation and relates to what we are going thru without compromising his committment and beliefs. After reading "Revelations", I realized that this man is focused and his heart is sincere and GOD has prepared him to captivate the world again, but not as MA$E. This time as a man of faith, obedience, and strength; As a man of GOD.

I just bought this book in may before my birthday with my own birthday money and the first night i read 70 pages. Now let me tell you I'm a 17 year old white kid that lives in the suburbs and i appreciate Mason "ma$e" Betha just as much as anyone else. I loved reading this book cause it told me how his child hood started back when he had the dream of being in the nba, to rapping and then his transformation to being one with god and i think it's darn good. I really love his music, the few hits he had and i respect him now as a person, cause it's truly incredible to see mase - the laughable "shiny suit man" rapper that he was transforming into an honest christian man (leaving all his sins behind. Ill tell you this, this is one amazing book. Eventually in the future im going to visit mase in Atlanta and attend one of his preachings.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The contributor really allowed Mason to express himself. This book was written the way I would imagine a conversation with him. I could almost hear him speaking as I read. Many people have their doubts about why he has given his life to God and I believe that this book addresses that well. I am glad that I read this book, I always knew that there was something special about him. I see his love and dedication to God in his words.
