The parts just don't fit quite right.

Just off the top of my head:
- the engine is too big for the engine compartment. The hood won't close and a hole had to be drilled through the oil pan to make the front axle fit.

- the notches in the body for the exhaust tips are not aligned correctly so the exhaust tips have to be installed crooked.

- the larger rear tires for Cobra-Jet rub against the body.

The instructions aren't very clear about the decal placement. The instructions contain some mistakes regarding which color to paint certain parts.

Great Model. Easy for a beginner, great for anyone. Easy to put together, would get another in a heartbeat. If you are looking for a good model, get this one.
