Highly detailed 1/25 scale assembly model kit of the Peterbilt 359 Conventional Truck. The easily adaptable 4-axle 359 Conventional is still widely used today on heavy haulage duties in the north of America and in Alaska. The 359 Conventional is equipped with a Cummins-NTC-425 Diesel engine as standard, providing 425 hp. Heavy articulated vehicles often use Cummins engines with up to 1,600 hp or Detroit Diesel aggregates delivering 860 hp. This powerful truck is fitted with a 10-speed Fuller-RT-910-gearbox. This 1/25 scale model kit features: Open or closed engine hood. Detailed Cummins Diesel engine. Multi-part frame. Steerable front wheels. Doors can be open or closed. Detailed driver's cab with air-conditioning unit on the roof. Single-piece, stabilized fenders. Driver's cab with instrument panel and seats. Chains and hoses included. 14 tires. Multi-piece decal. 369 parts total.

what an absolute waste of money! the folks at revell were evidently too cheap to cast a new molding for their truck model. instead, they include the regular three axle chassis and two extra pieces of frame. they expect the model builder to cut the chassis and reassemble with the extra piece inserted. it never worked right and the model is an absolute piece of junk. don't waste your money. revell should be ashamed of themselves.
