By the autumn of 1917, the SPAD XIII was used in ever-increasing numbers by the French Air Force's fighter units. For the remainder of WWI, this fearless fighter biplane proved to be a worthy adversary when it was put in the hands of experienced pilots.
This is a Revell Germany 1/48 scale assembly and painting required plastic model kit of the SPAD S.XIII, a World War I French biplane fighter. One of the best fighter aircraft of World War I, the SPAD was flown by some of the most celebrated fighter aces of the era, including the famous American ace Eddie Rickenbacker. Model kit features: Kit features well appointed office, delicate exterior surface finish (fabric-over frame and stitching effects), separately molded elevators, detailed radiator with separate louver overlay, twin Vickers machine guns and your choice of 2 types of propeller and 3 windscreen patterns.
