In general, this is a great model kit, and it looks awesome on a shelf.

You will need to invent a stand or base to place it on, which isn't hard, but remember that when buying.

If you like to collect the original Star Wars Trilogy ships and normally buy authentic looking ones in toy form but can't find a good Imperial Shuttle, this is absolutely the one you want. It is large enough that it will look great on any shelf. It measures about 8" long x 12" tall x 16" wide when the wings are down. The only problem is that it doesn't have a stand. It comes with optional landing gear as part of the model kit, but they will be useless if the wings are folded down like the picture. Don't use them if you don't want them because once snapped in place you can not remove them without breaking the tabs that hold them on. The wings fold up and unfold down whenever you want which is really cool, but then you are stuck with a folded model when on the landing gear. You will need to invent a stand or base to place it on, which isn't hard, but remember that when buying. Other than that, it looks amazing. It takes about 30-60 minutes of careful work to trim the pieces and snap it all together. Don't forget to trim the edges when you remove the individual parts from the plastic holders or you might get seams. It really doesn't need to be painted because of the grey and black color scheme. And it is light grey, not blue. This is one of the best of the Revell Star Wars models.

This is surprisingly a great item. i typically stay away from the plastic stuff and my fingers are too fat for glue/paint models, but this is a great alternative for certain planes/vehicles. It's a good size and was real easy to put together. I looked at the Lego version of this and it was way too expensive (>$150 if I remember correctly).

Since the Imperial Shuttle doesn't have real detailed markings and the color is perfect for plastic, it looks great. I'm just going to display it on a shelf, so if you want to play with it it's not a great idea.

Definitely recommended.

bought this for my son and slowly building up the collection - he loves making these: the lack of glue makes these great for 6+ yrs old.

In general, this is a great model kit, and it looks awesome on a shelf. The bottom two wings are adjustable; you can move them so they point up for when the ship is in landing mode, or down (like in the picture) for when it's in flight.

The instructions were a little confusing about this, so let me explain the landing gear: it comes with little plastic feet that the ship can land on, and also a couple of plastic pieces that attach to the same part of the bottom of the ship, except they're flat plastic that cover the place where the landing gear would go. You can only attach the landing gear/feet if all the wings are going to be in the up position. If you want the wings to move down, the landing gear get in the way and you'll need to install the other plastic pieces on the bottom of the ship. The thing is, it's really difficult to disassemble the plastic pieces once they're put together. This is super annoying, it would've been much better if the landing gear could somehow recede, or at least be easily removed.

What I ended up doing is installing the solid pieces on the bottom and throwing away the plastic landing gear feet, and this is fine with me since it can get into flight mode while still look good on a shelf (it just rests on the bottom of the ship instead of the landing gear). I almost gave it four stars instead of five because of this issue, but honestly it's still a great little kit.

My favorite starwars ship for so e reason. I had a glue model but it was destroyed in a move, thing was great, 1983 model I think. Anaya way, this one was an easy build, no paint required and looks great. The wings are a little off as they don't fold properly but still, it's a great little model.

is a very easy bulid model but the lack of a stand to exhibit with the wings opened is a shame, need a little bit a sanding but is solid and well painted
