A Classic Monster Model Kit Brought Back from the Dead,

Revell has released an old model kit that was first produced back in the 1960's. The Mummy is a great kit and really looks pretty good. It has a great likeness to the Lon Chaney Jr. the actor who played the Mummy character during the Golden Age of Hollywood movies. The kit is easy to build and the instructions are very easy to understand. Although I like this kit, I didn't like how well the parts fit together. All parts had a seam line that shows through, especially when completed and painted. I didn't want the seam to show so I had to fill all the seams with putty. This took me a while but the work was well worth it. After I painted the kit, the monster came to life. I highly recommend this kit to all skill levels. It's a fun kit to build and paint.

BUYING from Amazon com is GREAT, the prime membership i would recommend to all, it can't be beat.The fun of this model was painting it & then putting it together, the educational value was learning how to airbrush the model with acrylic paint, as durableity the'll last as long as you want them to, there not something a child can play with as a toy without breaking, there ment for viewing after the fun of completeing, just wish i could find the whole monster line i had when i was a kid.
