My 9-year-old was very pleased with this model, and it makes for an impressive vehicle - especially since it's the same scale as other Revell Star Wars snap-tight kits.

It did need a little plastic cement here and there to keep it together, especially during vigorous play. And one or two pieces were a little hard to snap in place. But it's a nice model.

A very light wash of highly thinned black or grey paint will help some of the nicely scribed panel detail stand out. Brush it on and wipe off any excess, leaving paint only in the recesses.

Great toy and durable. With the ships that are for mass market to just pick up at a toy store in excess of 100 dollars, this was a GREAT alternative. For some reason the big chain store of preassembled ships is limited and outrageously priced. This toy has taken a beating and keeps on chugging. I did how ever use a little super glue on some spots that I thought might wear out with this basically being a snap together model. So far its almost a year old and gets played with all the time and is still a great purchase.

First of all, this is a nicely sized model, nicely detailed, and pre-painted. My son and I spent 2 afternoons building it afterschool, and it served it's purpose perfectly - I helped him build it by cutting out the pieces and trimming them nicely, and he followed the directions to put it together himself. He gained satisfaction from accomplishing a project nicely, and the model looked great! The painted detailing is much better than anything I had as a child. Revell models are built well these days, the plastic is thick and sturdy, and the snap-tite parts are well thought out so the seams and joints hide well. Overall, I'm very impressed with this model. I also purchased a Millenium Falcon snap-tite, and it is just as impressive, with moving canons, landing ramp, very nicely painted and detailed. He plays with both ships everyday.

THe impearl shuttle is 9 inches tall and has two figures witch are 2mm tall.I learned that you have to be careful about what you snap.It is very fun and I have not stopped playing with it yet.

Guess we didn't realize how hard the model was to assemble for a 6 year old. Once it's assembled it is a fun toy that is enjoyed.

Got this for my nephew as a Christmas present. He is 7 and loves Star Wars. It looked so cool. It broke as we put it together. I would avoid purchasing it.

I was so excited when i bought it and wanted to build it right away.After waiting to build it i did.After i was done i learned that you have to be careful about being gentle with it and snapping parts together.It comes with 2 mm figures.
