This book is an incredibly detailed story of the 22nd Bomb Group, and to make it more enjoyable it is written in style that is easy to read and is chock full of photos and drawings. It is inspiring to read how the 22nd flew the first US bombers from Australia to attack the Japanese at their main base in Rabaul soon after they arrived and not all their aircraft even reached Australia. These missions with meagre resources and against great odds gave the allies hope in their darkest hours. This book is a worthy tribute to their efforts and sacrifice.

This is the kind of book you just keep pulling off your shelf again and again, and what a series it belongs to.
I can't wait for the others!.This book is worth every penny.

This title fits in well with the first volume of the series about the 345th Bomb Group.

Lots of stories and a whole lot of photos and well-done color profiles.

Can't add too much to the earlier reviews except to agree with them.
