That the ghost of the former gardener of Charlstock, Samuel Stokes, is the cause of all the problems is clear to Grandpa, his grandson Tim, and friend Jane. The solution is the result of considerable thinking and eating and a dose of British humor. Carole Boyd's clear, multi-voiced reading draws the listener into the story with appropriate accents and consistent distinctions of voice. I read this book for an English project. It is a very funny and interesting book and you don't know what trouble Samuel Stokes is going to cause next! i recommend it to anyone who wants a good laugh !
