I received this within a week of ordering--fast shipping.

Cons: Item is a lot heavier than I expected, might be too much weight around the middle if standing for long periods. I guess I could turn it around so the bulk of it will be hanging behind me, then turn it back around to front or sides when sitting. Not exactly comfortable which is what I was looking for.

Pros: will keep you cooler than wearing a vest. Fine quality and stitching.

This manually inflated belt pack is compact in design is about the same size as a fanny pack and light to wear.
I have not had to use it but it seems to be well made with quality materials and it has an extra clear storage pouch to keep it in to protect it when not in use

Pros: from a reliable company, best in class price, available in navy blue or red, comes with a heavy clear plastic velcro storage bag with two D tabs, available refill CO2 cartridges, relflective markings when deployed, easy "green" flag ready marker. ballistic nylon pouch and web belt, 35 lbs of bouancy

Cons: the ballistic style nylon pouch will take a while to dry when wet.

With the rapid increase in stand up paddle boarding, this a good choice for a swimmer in need of a PFD.

After using a Revere inflatable with harness for work, this was an easy choice.

Very comfortable to wear. The quality is great. I bought three of them. Easy to store on the boat under the seat.

Let's face it, no one likes to wear a life vest. So if you can wear something small and unobtrusive you'll be more likely to wear it and it'll be there in the unlikely event you actually need it. This straps on like a fanny pack and can be deployed quickly if needed. This rating is based on the comfort, size and value of the device rather than how well it actually works as, thankfully, I haven't had to find out and hope I never will.
