5.0 out of 5 stars This is my go-to pan
I have owned this pan for 3-4 years. I plan on replacing my 10 inch about that often as they begin to show some wear -- that isn't bad for $20 or so. I have not found a nonstick surface that holds up to metal utensils or high heat. If you are careful about these things, this pan can last several years. I use mine almost every day.

versus
3.0 out of 5 stars okay, but not what I expected
I was hoping to replace a Revere skillet that had scatches and a little peeling of the nonstick surface. I assumed this would be as thick bottomed as the previous one, but was disappointed. This skillet is better than others I looked at in stores for comparable prices. It's getting really hard to find anything that is not a "saute pan". I like the taller, straight sides...

This item has good depth (holds lots of food, and I can stir contents without dribbling over the edge) - best skillet I ever had - my old one of the same type lasted years.

4.0 out of 5 stars Durable, January 2, 2009
This review is from: Revere Polished Aluminum 10-Inch Nonstick Skillet (Kitchen)
You will be satisfied with the overall quality of these skillets. They are durable, yet not so heavy that you can't lift them. The only problem is that some slight discoloration seems to occur on the outside of the skillet's shiny surface over time. Otherwise they seem to be very durable.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great fry pan, August 28, 2011

I needed a new 10" non stick fry pan and purchased this thinking it would be heavier than it really was. I was worried when I first used it thinking my food would burn easily etc. Well, it is a great pan! It browns chops and chicken well, the heat distributes evenly. It cleans up really well. I really like it.

I was looking for "old school" skillets that weren't so heavy like the anodized ones they are making now. I had TFal for years, but it finally shot craps. The TFal being sold on Amazon had reviews stating they were shallow skillets. That wasn't what I wanted, so I took a chance on these. I am very pleased! They are great...lightweight, non-stick, and the perfect depth. They do discolor on the outside as another user mentioned, but that doesn't bother me. My skillets are kept in a cabinet and not on display. The only thing I warn against is using metal utensils! I was kind of mashing some hamburger and stirring it with a regular stainless skill serving spoon, and it did knick it up a little. My TFal wasn't that sensitive, so I didn't know. Ooops!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great, March 12, 2011

This is a perfect pan. For frying as well as whatever else you may want. Nothing sticks and it doesn't get over hot like some other more expensive skillets.

I have used the Paul Revere Ware set all of my adult life and I am 51 yrs. old. It has held up wonderfully and is still going strong. I did not have a NONSTICK Revere skillet in my set( like I said- my set is old- they didn't even make them back then) so I decided to purchase this one. Absolutely wonderful pan. Everything cooks evenly and cleaning- Wow- You almost don't even have to wash it, nothing sticks to it to get off. The outside finish is so mirror shiny and pretty- I hope it stays that way. This pan never makes it to the cabinet as it is the one I go to everyday. I love it. Amazon is my go to shopping place, too. They make shopping so easy.

Very happy with this purchase. Wanted something that will last. Feels just as well constructed as the one I bought years ago for myself. Only issue = one that was out fault. The dishwasher has dulled the nice shiny polished aluminum look.

I bought the "trio". What a great deal for all three! I am so pleased with my purchase's. It started out by me needing a new skillet to replace my very old one :) I then decided to purchase all three of their combos. These "pots" are lightweight, yet durable. Very nice looking too! Love the fact, that the handles do not get hot! The water boils in "no time", I can't say enough about these "pots".
They were shipped before scheduled date, and the packaging was excellent!!! I would recommend these 100%! if you are looking for a very good deal for nice "pots". Side note: They came with no damage at all.

Great pan! It is nice and heavy and the sides are deep and straight up. I have the smaller size and have used it for a couple years now. They are not like the thin, cheap ones. These should last a very long time. I love both of them.
