Format: Hardcover
Despite the small publisher, Archaia, Revere is a beautiful, lavishly-colored hardcover book.

Which makes it, somehow, all the goofier. Based on the (oh-so-logical) premise that Paul Revere was sort of a 1776 version of John Constantine - battling the forces of darkness with homemade silver goods.

The American Revolution makes his job a bit more difficult, but fortunately Revere's goals of 'fightin' the evil' and 'fightin' the English' nicely meet when he comes up against a unit of Redcoat werewolves.

Imaginative, and strangely charming, Revere gets a lot of points for the sheer gutsiness of the premise. A little more self-awareness would go a long way, but this is a title that has very big dreams and the talent to back them up. --- PORNOKITSCH

A great story, it puts a unique twist on Paul Revere's profession. Grant's style is definently unique, some of the best art I've seen in a long time. Look forward to seeing more from him.

A great addition to my book collection for sure. The art is cunningly done and the way the story is woven with just enough historical information is great.
I bought this book because I stumbled across the art on someone else's website and tracked it down but now that I've read the whole thing I'm doubly glad I finally bought it.
