Listening to this CD is indeed like going to church! If you want to hear the truth about corporate gluttenly, excess and greed you got it here on this Reverend Billy compilation. The keyboard artists are awesome. You don't get gospel played like this in too many churches today!! Very refreshing renditions of some gospel chestnuts. All I can say is: STOP SHOPPING!! (But do go out and invest in this CD!!) It will make you think!!!

What an album .. Three words James Solomon Benn .. His vocals on track 4 "Come Happy" are Great. The bonus DVD is also fantastic. The cinematograghy, and editing are "flawless"

I have seen Reverend Billy and the Church of Stop Shopping quite a few times. This CD captures the energy of their performances. Tongue and Cheek, kitschy but with a serious message. Excellent CD for fans of Reverend Billy's work. The sermons are the best parts.

wasn't quiet sure what to expect and was completely blown away. I've seen Reverend Billy and his choir in a few papers and thought what the heck, what really surpirsed me the most was the quality of the album as far as music, the quality is awesome it def. keeps you coming back for more.

Very good, but I would recommend the videos instead, particularly "What Would Jesus Buy?" Only buy the CD if you can get it really cheap, or if you already have the DVDs.
