Reverse Speech Voices From The Unconscious
Ourselves And Our Society Oates is in a class with Thomas Edison, Nicola Tesla, Albert Einstein and Alexander Graham Bell. David John Oates, like Bell shortly after he invented the telephone, is confronted by many who are excited about his great discovery, but are still asking What practical use is it?' I am amazed that anyone would ask such a question. My prediction is that Reverse Speech will revolutionize all aspects of human life. Virgil Chrane, D.C. President, Alphabiotics International Politics It's a shame to think that there are tools going unused that would give us some sense of what our office-seeking fellow citizens have really got in mind. Word counts, sound graphs, even speeches played backward I think any of them could help us make a sound electoral choice. Discover Magazine July, 1992 Law If it comes to be widely accepted that speech reversals represent a means to obtain information from the unconscious mind that cannot be consciously altered or falsified, , then hardly any major lawsuit will ever be tried without making the use of witnesses' speech reversals. Do you REALLY want that "proof" that you often read books like "Roswell" or "JFK, The Real Story" to find? .... only to be disapointed at last chapter's end? Oates is a troublemaker ! Reading his amazing theories of hidden thoughts .. words and complete sentences that are revealed in the reverse playing of Presidential speeches, criminal suspects statements, Government representatives, and (hold on tight now) .. even yourself!, will leave your jaw hanging open ..! Unlike UFO and similar secret "disclosures" that end with nothing truly revealed or 'testable", closing Oates book leads you to an instantly waiting hobby, ongoing experiment, and lifetime study that you can hear with your own ears and your own selected subjects ... if a person can talk, they can be reversed! The only real problem I have with this book is my indecision if Oates understands how many faint of heart might buy it for a "light read&quo! t; night of entertainment, only to find they are face to face with incredible reverse- hidden messages in thier beloved speech recordings of everyone from Stage/Screen/Tv personalities, leading newscommentators, even the manned moonlanding, one of Oates first found reversals ...) Buy the book. If you are not easily frightened, play the audio tape (s) as well .. but be warned! This is not "JFK expose' or "Roswell Revealed" sensationalism ... This proves itself in the privacy of your own home .. Samples have been heard by millions on Art Bell's Coast to Coast program ... experiment yourself ... read and enjoy!

I dont see why so many people have such a hard time with this concept. I mean almost all of the senses are backwards and then reversed by our brains why couldn't there be something similar with our speech. The people that bad mouth Reverse Speech are those skeptics that turn down anything that seems out of the ordinary before they even give it a chance. Ive read the book and there really isnt anything that he doesnt explain as well as have evidence and customer satisfaction. So if your looking for a change or an anwser check this out. see ReverseSpeech.com

An Explanation for "Satanic" Backward Messages in Pop Songs,
By
This review is from: Reverse Speech : Voices of the Unconscious (Examples Cassette Included) (Paperback)
David John Oates has a controversial reputation especially after his legal battles with radio host Art Bell. He is an early pioneer in the discovery of reverse speech in which it is claimed than a person can say intelligible messages in reverse as he speaks forwards. These messages often reveal the subconscious of the speaker or what he is trying to hide. The messages are often metaphorical in nature, especially in pop songs when a singer may say something in reverse metaphorically about Jesus or Satan while singing a song. I thought this was an interesting explanation because I remember the backward message scare when I was teenager. A traveling minister came to our church one time and scared our socks off with his scary satanic backward messages from all my favorite rock albums. I got so scared I destroyed them--and then bought them all back a month later cause I missed all my favorite tunes. Funny stuff--I talked to some other guy one time that went through the same thing. It is suggested that reverse speech may be useful in therapy, politics, and law to find about deeper truths about what a person is saying. Oates explains his theories convincingly and gives persuasive examples of reverse speech and how he has helped others in therapy. I've listened to some speech in reverse and I have been able to make out what seems to be intelligible speech when playing it backwards. Most of the messages have not been that coherent or revealing--although Oates claims one must practice for hours to learn how to listen to reverse speech. I'm sure hardcore skeptics will be chagrined over the concept of reverse speech, but those willing to give the idea a chance will find it fascinating, even if eventually proves to be hogwash.
