Great Study Guide for Certification,
By Always Reading "Deborah" (East Texas) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Review of Hemodialysis for Nurses and Dialysis Personnel (Paperback)
I used this book at a study guide for the nursing certification test in 2000. I passed with flying colors. It is comprhensive and to the point. There wasn't a subject in the test that was not covered in this book as well. This book is a much easier read than the ANNA curriculum. If you are looking to study for the CNN or CDN then look no further.

Thinking about a career in dialysis?,
By A Customer
This review is from: Review of Hemodialysis for Nurses and Dialysis Personnel (Paperback)
I've been a Dialysis Tech for a year now. I used this book to get throught the interview process, and we used much of the information in this book in the classroom. It is worth every penny.

This review is from: Review of Hemodialysis for Nurses and Dialysis Personnel (Review of Hemodialysis for Nurses & Dialysis Personnel) (Paperback)
I bought this and the "Clinical manual of dialysis" together. This is an amazingly easy book to read with a wealth of information. I love the question and answer format. I HATE reading, and am your typical "bathroom reader". This format makes that very easy. I am only 1/3 through the book, but definitely find it worth the money. I am not new to nursing, but I have only been in dialysis for about 6 months. This book has opened my eyes to the vast complexities of dialysis and kidney disease. Graduating top of my class in RN school and making 100's in A&P I and II, I still never knew how much the kidney regulated and how much change there is in a body once they hit stage V kidney disease.

I have a Masters of Science in Nursing. This was the best written, easiest to read book I have read in a while. Question and answer format. Worth the money.

Education, Dialysis,

This review is from: Review of Hemodialysis for Nurses and Dialysis Personnel (Review of Hemodialysis for Nurses & Dialysis Personnel) (Paperback)
I bought this book because I wanted to expand my knowledge. But the truth is the book is very basic, too basic for me. As a dialysis nurse the book really could provide me with new information, but still I really like this book because I use it in class for new dialysis nurses. Its very simple and easy for them to follow and understand. If you are new to the renal world, this is a good buy. If you have been around dialysis for some time, I wouldn't recommend it.

I recommend this book to anyone interested in working in the dialysis field. I recently started orientation with a large dialysis company and found this book was very helpful in taking a subject that seemed complicated and explaining it in a simple and short way.

This is a good book as a review for nurses already in hemodialysis and an informative book for new dialysis nurses.

This review is from: Review of Hemodialysis for Nurses and Dialysis Personnel (Review of Hemodialysis for Nurses & Dialysis Personnel) (Paperback)
This book is very informative not only for experienced Dialysis professionals but also for those who are new to this sub-specialty. I highly recommend it for anyone who needs a book that is very readable and covers the topics necessary without using terminology that is too technical and complicated to understand.
