Excellent review text, poor proofreading by the editors, May 28, 2004
This review is from: Review of Orthopaedics, 4e (Miller, Review of Orthopaedics) (Paperback)
Miller and co. have the unenviable task of compressing all of orthopaedics into a concise text for review. Remarkably so, they have improved on an already invaluable resource for residents and practicing orthopods alike. Given the number of syntax errors and content inconsistencies (see hand section) it appears that they may have rushed this edition to print, thus the "4 stars" ranking. This text still remains the standard to which other review books are compared.

Review of Orthopaedics (Miller 4th ed), March 20, 2004

This review is from: Review of Orthopaedics, 4e (Miller, Review of Orthopaedics) (Paperback)
Absolutely outstanding!!! An indispensible review of a very broad and detail oriented topic. Absolutely crucial for the upcoming boards. The updated Sports Medicine chapter was a complete bonus with exquisite attention paid to sports injuries of the upper extremity (an often ignored topic). Congrats to Miller on assembling an excellent team of authors.

not easy to read, May 24, 2008
This review is from: Review of Orthopaedics, 4e (Miller, Review of Orthopaedics) (Paperback)
ok it has a large amount of knowledge in a small space and it can be used as a quick reference while in hospital if you are not a fan of electronic editions that serve this purpose much better. But there is no way to read this book unless you have studied before much larger text books to be able to connect the missing dots

Miller Review of orthopaedics, August 25, 2005
This review is from: Review of Orthopaedics, 4e (Miller, Review of Orthopaedics) (Paperback)
A good text for an overview of key concepts to know...will need a color atlas for better pictures though. Through coverage of most topics of interest for residents, and a good review for the OITE

Very Disappointed, December 30, 2005
This review is from: Review of Orthopaedics, 4e (Miller, Review of Orthopaedics) (Paperback)
Like the comment of some reviewers we see on line, there are many inaccuracies in the text as well as mistakes especially when it comes to anatomy.
I regret having bought this book.
There are many review books better than this one
