mri for idiots,
By A Customer
This review is from: Review Questions for MRI (Paperback)
a felow technologist recommended this as a study aid for the registry exam last fall. it was a definite life-saver. easy to understand; and practical questions. i don't think i could have passed the registry without this book. very highly recommended.

This is a must have for all MRI Technologists, price here is higher than most bookstores. If you only get one book in MR review, this is it

If your taking the Registry....Its not really worth it,
By KEN (Washington, DC) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Review Questions for MRI (Paperback)
The sections on MRI Patient Care, Safety, Equipment, and Some of the general concepts on Pulse Sequences were good -- and similar to the Registry. But....the Anatomy and Physics questions were way too easy
and much simpler than the Registry. Not Recommended. This is a general and basic review but nothing more. Explanations are lacking and the book needs updating.

Received this book a few weeks before I took the MRI exam. I passed but did not feel that this book was terribly helpful for the price. I was expecting some large form of review and all I received was this tiny book with many of the questions not giving an indepth answer, which would have been helpful.

Good review book along with others,

Good review book to use along with others. Also recommend attending Faulkner's seminar. I used Lipponcott's MRI review book that had more questions and a practice registry in the back. Intense test, but passable! Good luck.

good but needs updating,

This book is a good review but there are some questions that could use some more up to date information. The answer key could use some more explination to the answers given. The questions could cover more information and with the updated info more questions could be posed. Overall the book is a good review but should not be the only one used.

Great book for reviewing what you know and what you don't before taking the registry test. It has a lot of great questions that you would possibly see in the test but definitely you need to study Physics and Anatomy from other books.
