5.0 out of 5 stars VERY HELPFUL PRO-EVOLUTIONIST REVIEW OF CREATIONIST BOOKS, July 9, 2010
This review is from: Reviews of Creationist Books (Paperback)
This book (first published in 1984, expanded in 1992) is published by the National Center for Science Education (NCSE), and collects a series of book reviews (from one to six pages in length) of forty-one various creationist books (several books have more than one review). Being published by the NCSE, it is critical of the creationist perspective, of course.

The book is most concerned with books aimed at school-age children and young adults (such as Of Pandas and People: The Central Question of Biological Origins, and Duane Gish's Dinosaurs: Those Terrible Lizards), but many important creationist books are critiqued by reviewers (including Stephen Jay Gould and Michael Ruse), including:

Thomas Barnes: Origin and Destiny of the Earth's Magnetic Field
Wendell Bird: The Origin of Species Revisited: The Theories of Evolution and of Abrupt Appearance
M. Bowden: Ape-men: Fact or Fallacy?: A Critical Examination of the Evidence
Michael Denton: Evolution: A Theory In Crisis
Duane Gish: Evolution: The Challenge of the Fossil Record
Philip Johnson: Darwin on Trial
Henry Morris: Scientific Creationism
John Morris: Tracking Those Incredible Dinosaurs and the People Who Knew Them
Harold Slusher: Origin of the Universe (ICR technical monograph ; no. 8)
Critique of Radiometric Dating (ICR technical monograph)
Charles B. Thaxton: The Mystery of Life's Origin: Reassessing Current Theories
John Whitcomb, Henry Morris: Genesis Flood
A.E. Wilder-Smith: The Natural Sciences Know Nothing of Evolution
