The Revised Standard Version (RSV) is my favorite translation, especially for the New Testament, because it aimed to be literal. This version is a very good buy. The typeset is identical to the original "Anniversary" version, but the paper quality is a little better, so there is less of the annoying print "bleed" when reading. So, this "Pew Version" is highly recommended. -WGL-
