Simple yet edgy,
By Molly Smith (Seattle, WA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Revisionists (Audio CD)
The Revisionists, with their obvious classic rock and Seattle influences have created a catchy, punk infused album. Their second track, "See you Around" is a simplistic yet edgy track that sets the tone for the whole album. The upbeat rhythms and tempos give the listener something to dance to and hum to...This album is an example of what happens when three veteran musicians put their heads together and have some fun.

worth a listen..,
By Haywood Spencer "Loveless Records" (Seattle, WA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Revisionists (Audio CD)
Dan Lavery, Sam Jones, and Kevin Sheppard have created a real straight forward approach and sound that makes The Revisionists debut well worth a listen. The performance and production is crisp and allows the songs to be the focal point. In particular, Fic Fic Fiction and See You Around are very catchy songs. They have their influences, but this record sounds modern and original. No new ground is being broken here, but a good song and earnest performance is always compelling. Check it out... |
