I discovered "3" by accident on a Metal site and bought Wake Pig also very good then the excellent "The End is Begun" which features a long version of Dregs from "Wake Pig", far better than the original. How would I describe this band? - definitely not metal (even though their cd's are on the Metal Blade label)- somewhere between mellow and prog rock. A very interesting mixture and great relaxing music. Revisions was apparently released as an after thought - I cannot think why. Give 3 a try.

This is a great project for such an awesome band. This album features old songs redone to sound better/more modern. If you are a fan of 3 dating back to their first album, you'll recognize a few greats. I can't help but wonder if anyone out there has heard ALL of these songs before, aside from the band itself.
The last album 'The End is Begun' saw 3 entering a realm of slightly heavier songs. This collection, however, has a nice step back to the great subtleties and beautiful melodies that have been present over 3's career. Standouts include, 'The Better Half of Me', 'The Emerald Undertow' (aka 'Careless Kim' from the 'Paint by Number' album), and 'Lexicon Of Extremism' (another sweet acoustic guitar solo track, similar to 'Bramfatura')

Starting with the first three songs that in my opinion highlight the whole album and the rest fit in nicely, the closing song is also a great song, hopefully the next album takes hints of this album and their last one.
