Book Description

May 1986
A clarion, no-compromise call to the principles of Biblical revival Revival God's Way

Leonard Ravenhill writes, "After half a century of pleading, praying, preaching and writing about revival, we still have not experienced true revival. We live in a generation which has never known revival God's way - "

The author's message is drastic, fearless and often radical. His goal for the church is nothing less than full restoration to the glory, power, holiness and dignity that Christ always intended for it.

For all those Christians who yearn for Revival God's Way

About the Author

Leonard Ravenhill was born in 1907 in the city of Leeds, in Yorkshire, England. After his conversion to Christ, he was trained for the ministry at Cliff College. It soon became evident that evangelism was his forte, and he engaged it with both vigor and power. Eventually he became one of England's foremost outdoor evangelists. His meetings in the war years drew traffic jamming crowds in Britain, and great numbers of his converts not only followed the Savior into the Kingdom, but into Christian ministry and the world's mission fields.

In 1939 he married an Irish nurse named Martha. Together they had three sons. Paul and David are ministers, and Philip is a teacher. Leonard went home to be with the Lord in November of 1994.

5.0 out of 5 stars There's our own way of revival, then there's God's way!, February 3, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Revival God's Way (Paperback)
I consider Leonard Ravenhill to be my spiritual grandfather. He discipled most of the men who discipled me. To say that Bro. Len was outspoken on the subjects of prayer and revival would be a gross understatement. Much more than writing on the subject, he was a man of much prayer. Pick up this book today, or any book he's written for that matter, and get ready to be challenged and convicted!

5.0 out of 5 stars Read and weep..., June 1, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Revival God's Way (Paperback)
This book is powerful. The poems in the book, written by Leanord Ravenhill himself, are incredible, and worth buying the book if only for that reason. I think this was his last book before going home to be with the Lord.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Passionate Call to Pray for Revival, January 20, 2006
This review is from: Revival God's Way (Paperback)
Brother Leonard Ravenhill didn't just write books on prayer or revival. He passionately pursued them. He was a man with a humble but earnest desire to see God pour out His Spirit on all flesh (Acts 2:17). His books are more of what he lived then what he wrote.

In this work, REVIVAL GOD'S WAY, Leonard Ravenhill challenges the reader to seek revival but seek it God's way. In our age of instant gratification, Ravenhill shows us that true revival will come only to the broken, humble, and waiting servant of God. God answers in His timing and not our own.

This is a wonderful classic and should be read by every true disciple of Jesus.
