I have read the book three times and I imagine I will read it many more times. I believe as Jonathan Goforth that this book needs to be read by all christians in these days. May God grant us a revival of religion and an influx of precious souls into His church before Jesus comes back.

Being sensitive to a need for a Revival in our country right now, this
book shows how we need to listen and pray for Revival. It is short, reads well and I recommend it to every Christian family in America.

This book really ministered to me concerning revival, and if you are a fan of folks like Leonard Ravenhill, you will enjoy this book. The only part of the book I found rather weak was the last couple chapters that were a large collection of sniplets from the personal Journal of Oswald J Smith. In my opinion, they did not add much to the book, and sometimes it made me wonder if Oswald J Smith really was sound in his faith. Overall though, good book.

THIS IS ONE OF A VERY FEW BOOKS EVER WRITTEN PLAINLY DEFINES REVIVAL. WE IN AMERICA NEED REVIVAL FORMOST UPON THE AND WITHIN THE BIBLE BELT. IF I HAD THE MONEY like brther GoForth i would freely make sure every so-called and every real-called Christian hhad ont and was putting it in action. Never has a single book been wrote which has exceeded this book "EXCEPT FOR THE BIBLE" that can impact a life to set in action means and methods selected selected for GENUINE HOLY GHOST REVIVAL. Jonah went to Nineveh with a Repentence Revival Sermon and the Peole were spared 120 years wher quit stealing,quit drinking,quit going to the rugby matches and insted became GOD FEARING doing that which is right according to GOD WORD. This what Real Revival produces. We must obtain and maintain REVIVAL NOW. It is the only thing which backs off damnation, wrath and jugement for its the only way to find favor with GOD and bring seasons of mercy. The only other book which teaches the TOTAL NEED FOR TOTAL REPENTENCE is THE EXPOSITION OF THE SEVEN CHUCH AGES by Brother William Marrion Branham. BUY THE REVIVAL WE NEED AND ASK your heart and answer 'IS THIS THE ACTION THE HOLY SPIRIT IS PRODUCING IN YOUR LIFE"?
If not then you do not have THE HOLY SPIRIT. NO HOLY SPIRIT FRUIT NO HOLY SPIRIT LOVE>ARE YOU MAN OF COURAGE or are you little pat each other on the back church going cowards with not enough audacity to STAND AS DAVID DID AND SCREAM OUT HOW DARE YOU INTIMIDATE THE ARMIES OF THE LIVING WORD.
