This is one of the most important Christian books of our time. Every believer should have a copy. Too many people today are sharing a false gospel with others. This book urges us to return to a Biblical Gospel message. Modern evangelism is creating too many false converts with it's message of "life enhancement" instead of salvation and an understanding of sin. Charles Spurgen said "They can not accept grace untill they tremble before a just and holy God".

This book is one of the most exciting and challenging books I have ever had the chance to read. Ray Comfort brings new light to the way we go about evangelism. I must agree with the view that modern evangelism does not work. Even though many may get saved, statics show that when follow-ups were done on those people who got saved through modern evangelism less then 10% remained in the faith.

This book has brought to me the realism of salvation more then anyone or any message done. I don't understand why it has taken the church so long to understand. This is so important and must be shared in the church. Ray Comfort has brought true evangelism back into the light and we better get a hold of it soon. If we continue to ignore this ever growing problem in the church of false converts we will now be judged because we have been shown Gods truth. I have had a hard time witnessing because I never knew how to bring up Gods love for them because it never made sense to me to share His love for them. Now I see how to have a truly deeper impact on the lives of those who are lost. I even took time to visit Ray's site and listen to his message of "True and False Converts".

Other then the Bible this book is one which has really touched me and opened my eyes to what I call "Power Evangelism". I will be referring back to this book throughout my life and ministry which God has for me.

A must have book for all believers.

This is the ONLY book I've ever taken the time to write an online review about. I just finished the book and put my bookmark back at the beginning to re-read it. I also just ordered 10 copies to give away to people in my church. Reading this book has not only given me insight in how to witness, it has deepened my relationship with God, and dramatically increased my passion for reaching people with the message of salvation.

This book is both practical and insightful. Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron share real-life situations and insights about witnessing and take all the guesswork out of it. This book will deepen your concern for lost people and will motivate you to start witnessing. Another thing I like about this book is that it soundly refutes the idea of "easy believism" and tells the hard truth. We aren't doing unbelievers any favors by giving them a feel good, warm fuzzy, incomplete gospel. Jesus did not preach easy believism. This is another book that every professing believer should read. Well written and practical.

This book opened my eyes to the Truth that was always there in the Bible. Ray explains the Gospel and how to witness clearly, using the principles implemented by Jesus and the Apostles. Most of the churches I attended always presented salvation so blurry to me, it never made sense, and I never felt right with God.

This book helped me take my faith seriously, I learned what is necessary for my relationship with God to become Born Again. All this principles can be found in the Bible. It is Biblical, so I would recommend it with all my heart. Read it if you know you feel you are not right with God. Being Born Again will make you certain you are saved. I witness to people now, and I don't feel embarrassed by my faith because I am truly saved!

This is a very well written work that increases the reader's ability to share the gospel. The first few chapters really hold your attention and give you many illustrations that aid in retention. This is a good book for an advanced evangelist or a new Christian. However, I don't like how the book is promoted. I am not sure it is the training manual for end time believers and I don't like the connection the cover of the book makes with the Left Behind series. Yet, this is a must read.

My hair was blown back. Very informative and scriptural sound. If you are Christian you will get alot out of this book. I highly recommend.

Ray Comfort's book has changed completely the way that I
respond to others concerning their salvation. I am so
thankful to learn how to use the Ten Commandments effectively
to rescue false converts and the lost from eternity in Hell.
So many are trusting in being a good person to earn salvation.
By God's perfect law, none of us are good. Jesus paid for our
punishment for sin on the cross and only by accepting his free gift
of salvation can we avoid the fires of Hell.

Excellent book. Read this book and quit using the salesman approach to extracting professions of faith.

Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron describe the 10 Commandments are like "10 loaded cannons," but only 9 are "loaded" - if you go by the logic that the 7th day Sabbath doesn't matter to God. It is the only commandment that tells us the following:
1.Who to worship. 2. Why to worship. 3. When to worship. 4. How to worship (by keeping the 7th day holy) and 5. Remembering to worship.
(The Sabbath was made for "man" Mark 2:27 - ....not The Sabbath was made for "Jews")

Also, I wish that the authors would have addressed these verses about hell because God says throughout the Bible the wicked will be annihilated - reduced to nonexistence...
